News from Kraków, where KNSB in silico is organizing the second BioInfo Meet this year:
Second Bioinfo Meet in Cracow!
After the success of the first edition of BioInfo Meet, which was welcomed warmly and which brought bioinformatics into the algorithmic hearts of many, you are kindly invited to the Second BioInfo Meet.
What is Bioinfo Meet?
Bioinfo Meet is an independent, non-profit community initiative aimed at bioinformatics professionals, enthusiasts and simply curious minds. It is an opportunity to share the topics that drive you in the field, whether it’s a scientific, technical, business or ways of working aspect of bioinformatics.

When?
Saturday, November 16th 2024
Where?
In Kraków, organized in collaboration with KNSB In Silico at Jagiellonian University in Kraków (we’ll have signs pointing to the meeting room, just like last time) where data meets innovation, and neurons run on caffeine
Why attend?
Because it’s the only chance to:

Learn in a casual atmosphere about the latest topics in bioinformatics and how it has mutated since the last meet-up (we hosted atendees from United Kingdom, Poland, Chile, and even a 4-months old junior bioinformatics enthusiast!)

What’s on the agenda?
6 talks altogether from scientists and of course, follow-up discussions, which, let’s be honest, are always longer than we plan :). Stay tuned for the full program which will be announced on social media via LinkedIn and Instagram
Interested in giving a talk?
Propose a 20-minute talk revolving around bioinformatics or the professional environment. Whether you want to share practical tips for working in academia or industry, discuss work ethics, recommend learning resources, or pitch a business or project idea for feedback – we’re all ears! Speakers enjoy a waived registration. Talk submission form
The official registration for participants will start on October 7th, after closing Call For Speakers.
