BioInformatics in Torun 2022 – BIT20->22

Polish Bioinformatics Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Bioinformatyczne / PTBI) and Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun welcome you to the 22th annual conference “BioInformatics in Torun – BIT20->22”. After the last two years COVID-induced internet shift, 2022 conference will be held in Torun - the charming medieval hanseatic town in Poland. We plan a hybrid mode, but personal attendance is recommended. The strange name comes from the shift of topics from planned for 2020 BIT conference

This year BIT20->22  will be devoted mainly, but not exclusively, to this equation:

"Bioinformatics+multiomics=better health"

The conference will start after lunch on June 23 (Thursday) and will end around lunchtime on June 25 (Saturday).

Saturday is planned to be devoted mostly to hands-on workshops in bioinformatics.

Note that just before BIT a fully covered short workshop for foreign PhD students on computational drug design is planned at the same place. The number of places is limited. More info will come.

Note that "Online participation" will allow in attendance in online given talks. Due to technical limitations most probably we will not be able to transfer onsite lectures in virtual form.
